Episode Guide

For many people, all you need to say about our next guest is her name: Elizabeth Lesser. She’s that beloved, and followed, and read.

If you don’t know her already — Elizabeth is a bestselling author and the co-founder of the Omega Institute, a retreat center in Rhinebeck, New York.  Her books include Broken Open: How Difficult Times Can Help Us Grow, which has sold almost 500,000 copies and has been translated into 20 languages. Her newest book is Cassandra Speaks, which has the wonderful subtitle When Women are the Storytellers, the Human Story Changes. The book is about empowering women to trust their instincts, find their voice, and tell new guiding stories.

Elizabeth has also studied with spiritual teachers, healers, psychologists, and philosophers from various traditions, and along the way has become her own spiritual force. Once a year, Elizabeth does a retreat for the members of Indagare’s community—it’s a gathering of about 40 women that we do to start the New Year, in Arizona.

Based on the response she gets wherever she speaks, including to our group, we can safely say that if you get to know her, you love her, and if you don’t already know her, get ready — Elizabeth can change your life.
