St. Barth’s has a rhythm all its own that mixes sophisticated French l’art de vivre with a laid-back tropical ease. From world-class hotels to excellent restaurants, shopping and plenty of activities on the beach and on the water, the island accomplishes something few others can, retaining its wild, undeveloped shores while satisfying serious jetsetters who are happy with nothing less than the best.
Although St. Barth’s was hit hard by Hurricane Irma in September 2017, the island has been busy rebuilding ever since—and has proven its resilience with a slew of newly rebuilt (and brand-new) villas, resorts and restaurants. Indagare has also been closely monitoring protocols on the island and we have all the intel on where to stay, eat, shop and more. We are also in touch with our local partners and can advise on all aspects of the island, which is one of our favorite destinations in the Caribbean.

Designing Your Journey
Work with Indagare to design the perfect itinerary for an immersive journey. Our travel experts know the destination inside and out, and they can make recommendations based on your travel needs and preferences.
3 Days: Essential St. Barth’s
Experience the best of St. Barth’s with a customized itinerary that includes special access, touring and exclusive reservations. Here is just one example of what our destination experts can create for you.
Day 1: Beach & Shopping
After checking in to your hotel, head down to the beach for lunch. Spend the afternoon walking along the beach and exploring your gorgeous surroundings. Head to Gustavia or St. Jean to browse the chic boutiques and enjoy dinner at one of the island’s best waterfront restaurants.
Day 2: Hiking & Boating
Start off your morning with a spa treatment at your hotel. A bit of relaxation will be necessary before you make your way to Colombier, one of the island’s most romantic—and hard to reach—beaches. The hike can be challenging, but savor the unbelievable views along the way. Another way to reach the gorgeous cove is via yacht charter, and you can snorkel right off your boat in the crystal-clear waters. For a big night out, head to an island institution for a buzzy atmosphere and dinner performances.
Day 3: Beach Time
Enjoy brunch at your hotel before heading to Gouveneur’s Beach for breathtaking views and a beach picnic. End the day with a beachside cocktail at one of St. Barth’s chic hotspots before a final dinner at an Indagare-recommended restaurant.
Where To Stay
We only feature hotels that we can vouch for first-hand. At many of them, Indagare members receive special amenities, including upgrades, early check-in, breakfast, spa credits and more. Look for the Indagare Plus logo in the reviews.
