The Tomb of Nefertar Valley of the Queens
Only opened to a limited number of visitors in 2017, the Tomb of Nefertari has long been considered the most beautifully decorated of all of the discovered tombs on the West Bank of Luxor. The tomb was prepared for the beloved wife of Ramses the Second, and was restored over a six-year period by the Egyptian Antiquities Authority. Sophisticated moisture reduction techniques were used to reaffix the original paintings (which are incredibly vivid and have not been retouched) to the walls of the tomb. Note that a limited number of visitors are allowed in the tomb each day. Contact Indagare to arrange a tour.
