WE ARE ALSO OFFERING THIS TRIP WITH SET DATES IN LATE FEBRUARY. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE.

What to Expect

With one third of all of the world’s antiquities and the only remaining monument of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Egypt is a superlative destination: astounding, colossal, epic. For thousands of years, travelers journeyed from all over the world to witness the glorious temples built by the pharaohs. Today, Egypt is stable, safe and on the brink of a massive influx of visitors. Now is the time to see it for yourself.

On this journey, travelers can immerse themselves in the legendary sites of Ancient Egypt from the exclusive vantage point of the Nile River, aboard Oberoi’s luxurious river cruiser, the Zahra. Traveling by water allows you to easily move from Aswan to Edfu and Luxor (avoiding hours of driving), while private, expert-guided tours at such iconic sites as Philae and the Valley of the Kings bring history to life. You will also have the chance to add on further exploration in Cairo, where you can enjoy exciting cultural experiences and private touring at the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Khan El-Khalili bazaar and the Egyptian Museum.

Inspired by our sold-out Egypt 2018 Insider Journey, this packaged itinerary combines the best of Indagare’s destination expertise, insider intel and special access to offer travelers an effortless and rewarding way to explore the world. It includes set dates, hotels and activities—so you don’t have to worry about planning—but allows for flexibility, customization and free time to explore on your own. In addition to the Main Trip down the Nile river on the Oberoi Zahra, which runs from March 20 to March 25 (5 nights), travelers can also add on our Pre-Trip Package to Cairo for touring at the Great Pyramids and more, with accommodations at the St. Regis Cairo, which runs from March 17 to March 20 (3 nights) or March 18 to March 20 (2 nights).
