Jagdish Temple

State Highway 50, Silawatwari, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001, India

One of the largest temples in Rajasthan, Jagdish Temple is located a stone’s throw from the City Palace. Built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh, the three-story complex is carved out of marble and dedicated to Lord Vishnu, preserver of the universe. The temple is still used by locals and visits should be timed to coincide with a Hindu service.
