You will be hard-pressed to find any other tourists at this cool lounge, as the only hint that it’s anything other than a brownstone is the bouncer by its entrance. The miniature crystal chandelier in the downstairs foyer sets the scene, and as you climb up a long staircase towards the door, you will feel as if you have stumbled into an exclusive house party. The townhouse space has a front room with high ceilings and original moldings, a connecting den-like space with velvet couches and deep leather chesterfields and an outdoor patio (equipped with heat lamps for the cold weather). As the cocktails are the true passion at Ruby, shelves are filled with all sorts of liquors and books on the topic.
