There are large pieces (rustic dining tables and curved fauteuils) but also smaller finds (cute pillows, tabletop accessories, etc.) to be made.

Max Bordeaux
This fantastic wine shop carries a large variety of Bordeaux's grand crus and some 30-plus can be sampled before you make the purchase, thanks to stainless steel Enomatic machines that line the sleek boutique. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and happy to assist. Tastings range from €1 for a sip of a Pessac-Léognan blanc to €35 for 1998 Latour.
O Design
This sleek boutiques carries Scandinavian-inspired home décor. It is a fun stop when you’re shopping on Rue Notre Dame. Closed Sunday and Monday.

If a Brooklyn hipster came to Bordeaux, this is the fashion and accessories boutique she would love: from cool printed tees to the latest boots, this shop carries everything for that relaxed but chic, boho style seen frequently in Paris’ Haut Marais. A shop for equally stylish men is located across the street.
