Hotel Classic: Grand Hôtel de Cala Rossa, a seaside Relais & Chateaux that is family-run.

Best Lunch: Le Vieux Moulin, in Centuri Port and Playa Baggia, near Porto Vecchio, both restaurants that serve incredible seafood and feel totally of-the-place.

Favorite Aperitif: A Cap Corse on the terrace of La Villa, looking across to Calvi’s Citadelle.

Best Dinner: Version Maquis Citadelle, thanks to its beautiful al fresco terrace with spot-on views of Bonifacio.

Most Serene Hotel: Domaine de Murtoli, tucked into 6,000 stunning acres.

Fresh oysters at Etang de Diane and all cheeses.

Top Shops: Au Petit Bazaar in Bonfacio for breezy beach accessories, and Annie Traiteur, in Calvi, for select Corsican wines.

Favorite Hike: The short but steep climb to the Torre di Seneca, in Cap Corse.

Favorite Drive: The route from Saint Florent to Calvi has some incredible vistas, and you can stop along the way in the small towns along the Artisan Route.

Wine to Bring Back Home: Abbatucci (Faustine); Vaccalli (Granit Rouge).
