Shopping in Megève is less of the ski clothes and more of the fur-coat variety. Check out La Galerie du Chamois, an arcade on the main street near the church that has plenty of one-of-a-kind boutiques. Be sure to stop in at the historic shop Aallard, which opened in the church square in the 1930s and claims to have invented the ski pant.
