Paris Master Class

Learn to cook with an acclaimed chef, globetrotter, author and television personality—Marc Murphy, the man behind New York’s Landmarc and Ditch Plains restaurants—while based at the historic and glamorous Ritz Hotel.

What to Expect

On this journey, we will indulge in an insider experience of the world’s food capital, Paris, with one of the chefs that made modern cuisine what it is today. Marc Murphy, the chef behind such lauded New York restaurants as Landmarc and Ditch Plains, will return to Paris where he worked as a young chef to open the doors to the Ritz Escoffier cooking school and share Michelin-starred secrets. During daily cooking lessons in the iconic Ritz hotel’s state-of-the-art kitchen, Marc will sprinkle his own flavor over classic French recipes like coq au vin, tarte tatin, soufflés and more.

In our free time, we will enjoy the city’s many treasures and dine like a plugged-in Parisian, in a mix of old-world restaurants and new hot spots. All the while, we shall reside in what was once the home-away-from-home for Coco Chanel, Marcel Proust and Ernest Hemingway: the Ritz Paris, a time capsule of Belle Époque decadence that was recently beautifully restored to its full glory.
