Housed in a grand Neo-classical building on the Left Bank’s Quai Conti, La Monnaie de Paris boasts one of the longest facades along the Seine and is where French coins and medals were once minted. Today, coin collectors and enthusiasts can visit the numismatics museum located inside the former foundry. Contemporary art exhibitions are also held within in its renovated 18th century galleries.
