The Giacometti Institute is a tiny but worthwhile museum in Montparnasse (a short 10-minute drive from central Paris) that is dedicated to Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti, who lived most of his life in Paris. The Giacometti Institute, which is located in a stunning Art Deco mansion, features a recreation of Giacometti’s studio filled with some of the pieces he was working on just prior to his death in 1966, as well as an exhibition space that will host rotating artists. Note: Tickets must be pre-purchased online.
