A Paris institution since the late 1950s, Le Drugstore on Champs-Elysées (which was the first all-night shop and pharmacy) has been given a new lease on life thanks to British designer Tom Dixon and three-Michelin-star chef Eric Frechon. Dixon has added new sheen to the original design with wood and leather accents that give its retro atmosphere a sexy fresh spin. Frechon, whose gourmet perch is nearby, at three-Michelin-starred L’Épicure at Le Bristol, shows that he can bring flair to casual fare with a menu that ranges from “Finger Food” selections like shrimp beignets and gruyere madeleines to classics like burgers, croques monsieurs and Caesar salads.
