The flagship art museum of Hamburg and one of the biggest in Germany, the grand Kunsthalle building holds over 700 years worth of European masterpieces. Divided into the galleries of Old Masters, 19th- century art, Classical Modernism and Contemporary art, the institution holds works from greats as Peter Paul Rubens, Auguste Rodin, Pablo Picasso and Richard Serra.
