The pinnacle of Hamburg gastronomy is this tiny contemporary restaurant in the newly developed Hafencity. With three Michelin stars, Kevin Fehling, a beloved German celebrity chef, unspools his experimental cuisine in an eight-course tasting menu that excites diners with a collusion of flavors and textures. The dishes, inspired by his northern German background and embellished with exotic elements, may include Faroe Island salmon with Japanese ponzu sauce or red Mediterranean prawn sprinkled with coriander. The 20 seats are set around a single, wood-hewn table that wends its way throughout the sleek restaurant.
