Sarakiniko Beach, Voudia, Greece
The otherworldly Sarakiniko Beach on the northern coast of Milos island is one of the most photographed landscapes in the Aegean. North winds and strong waves erode away the white volcanic rock to create the incredible cliff shapes on the shoreline. The lunar-like scene attracts visitors who want to walk along the high cliffs, sit in the shallow inlets relaxing in the water and jump the cliffs—however, if it is too windy this is not recommended, as there is no lifeguard.
