O! Hamos! Tavern

This family-run tavern across from Papikinou Beach has been popular since its opening in 1993. The outdoor garden is filled with large square tables where families and groups can share a plethora of Greek recipes passed down from the owner's grandparents. The charming menu is handwritten in different languages and shares the story of the tavern's beginnings along with detailed explanations of the dishes. The waitstaff recommends Grandma's cheese pies stuffed with local cheese, the O! Hamos! Greek salad and the married chickpeas. If you're lounging on the Papikinou Beach chairs across from the restaurant (which can be rented for a small fee), there is a shorter menu that you may order from, directly to the beach.
