Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud
This two-Michelin-star restaurant (the only one in Ireland to earn the distinction) inside the Merrion Hotel has been wildly popular since opening in 1981. Chef Guillaume Lebrun maintains a regularly updated menu with plenty of international references using local ingredients. You can order a la carte or try the tasting menus (starting from four-course spreads to eight-course entire-table feasts).
The Brasserie
This all-day dining venue inside The Marker Hotel is as cutting-edge as the rest of the property. The kitchen—led by renowned local chef Gareth Mullins—is all about modernizing Irish staples using fresh indigenous ingredients. And everything is hearty with starters ranging from pine-smoke duck terrine to barbecued Porchetta with crispy sweetbreads; while a wide selection of surf and turf items can be ordered as a main courses. Located right next to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, The Brasserie offers a perfect pre-theater meal.
