Ristorante Dillà

Via Mario de' Fiori, 41, 00187 Roma RM, Italy

The half-Italian, half-English owner of the beloved La Buvette, chef Andrea Misseri, has opened what he calls "an Italian tavern in central Rome," between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. The comfort food—delicious cacio e pepe and carbonara pastas—and its warm, unpretentious atmosphere is what Misseri means when he calls it a local tavern. It is the kind of place people gather for a cozy meal among friends with delicious home cooking.
