Review

Only a few blocks from Red Square and the Kremlin and even closer to the Bolshoi, the Park Hyatt sits in walking distance to many of the top attractions. (The famous department stores of TSUM and G.U.M. are also a stone’s throw away.)

A multi-year renovation transformed the property into a contemporary oasis of chic understatement in a city known for its baroque excess.  Of the 211 guest rooms the best ones are the Park Suites, which were created by designer Tony Chi, to feel like sexy, modern apartments. He used lots of mirrors, dark oak woods and custom furniture with leather details to complement the latest technology and luxury amenities like Frette linens and Parisian toiletries.

Among the dining options at the Park Hyatt Ararat are the Café Ararat, one of the city’s best Armenian restaurants; the Conservatory Lounge on the 10th floor with panoramic city views and Enoki, a top-rated Japanese restaurant. There is a twenty-four-hour business center and a full service spa and health club, Quantum, which is open to non-hotel guests for membership so provides a chance to work out and mingle with Moscow residents.
