Three blocks away from Casa Milà, this architectural masterpiece by Antoni Gaudí was built between 1904 and 1906 as his interpretation of the story of Saint George, the patron saint of Catalonia, slaying a dragon. The façade is decorated with mosaic tiles of vibrant oranges, greens and blues, and the distinctive arched roof resembles the dragon's scaly back. The house, a museum since 2002, is open to the public.
