In addition to great skiing (trails are open November – May), the area offers a variety of activities including hiking trails, cross-country skiing, a snow park, and dog sled rides. At the summit, sporty and chic skiers dressed in fashionable snowsuits congregate over drinks in front of spectacular views at Restaurant 3000 and the Refuge l’Espace.

Interior View-GreenGo ,Gstaad, Switzerland

GreenGo

Ever since it opened in 1971, this cocktail lounge/dance club in the basement of the Palace Hotel has been the place to party in Gstaad. Roger Moore, Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Diana, Michael Jackson, Richard Burton, Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly have all danced at this legendary nightclub. Although GreenGo underwent a facelift in 2006, the décor remains true to its 1970’s roots—the signature green carpeting, shimmering orange chandeliers, and clear dance platform extending over an illuminated pool make it the perfect setting for a decadent disco dance party. There is bottle service at the tables and cocktails are extremely expensive—even for Gstaad.
