Review
This stylish property in Verbier offers easy access to the town and mountain as well as many onsite amenities. The property combines a new chalet exterior, illuminated at night by neon landscape lighting, with sleek, contemporary interiors, designed with bold colors, modern art and floor-to-ceiling windows. The property's 127 rooms and suites are comfortable, airy and chic, with whimsical lighting, glass fireplaces and fur throws. For larger groups, the suites are glamorous and massive, many with spacious decks and huge soaking tubs, plus magnificent mountain views. There are many dining outlets on site, including the W Kitchen, serving inspired Swiss fare, a stylish tapas restaurant and a sexy sushi bar. During the winter months, W Off Piste is an buzzy, alfresco après-ski spot with a DJ and bottles of Champagne, and in summer, a beach atmosphere is created there with lounge chairs and sandpits. The gym and spa areas are equally sleek, with a gorgeous, negative-edge indoor/outdoor pool, multiple treatment rooms and a well-equipped fitness center where personal training sessions can be arranged.
Who Should Stay
This contemporary hotel is perfect for families, couples or groups. However, those looking for an intimate, elegant and quiet experience should stay at La Cordée des Alpes.
