  • 3 Days: Essential Tel Aviv-LP

    3 Days: Essential Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv’s best assets are its beaches and warm weather, but a number of intriguing sites lay within a 45-minute radius of the city. Here is just one example of what our destination experts can create for you.

    • Day 1

Begin your stay in Tel Aviv with a tour of Jaffa, one of the oldest biblical cities in the world and an important seaport since ancient times. Stop at the Gate of Hope Monument, which is situated on a high plateau offering a spectacular view over the Tel Aviv coastline and beyond, before touring the Old City, including the artists’ colony and the quaint historic harbor. Then, return to Tel Aviv to spend the day at your leisure, enjoying the sun, sand and restaurants of the city’s famous beachfront.

    • Day 2

Spend your day on a guided tour that highlights history and art. Stroll through Neve Tzedek to see restored historic homes, then visit Independence Hall. Proceed along Rothschild Boulevard, where you can see restored Bauhaus Architecture from the 1930s. After lunch at an Indagare-recommended restaurant, visit Rabin Square. Then, visit the Tel Aviv Museum of Art with your guide to view the spectacular collection of Israeli art as well as classical and contemporary international works.

    • Day 3

Make a short trip north to Haifa, where the famous Hanging Gardens descend to the golden dome of the Bahá’í Shrine. In the afternoon, enjoy a culinary tour of the city’s markets and food stalls before spending the evening relaxing at one of the beach clubs.

“Thanks to a last-minute tip from Indagare, we had a memorable night at the Salon in Tel Aviv. We indulged in great food and drinks, and by dessert, everyone was dancing (many on tables!)”

"If Jerusalem is Israel's soul, then Tel Aviv is its pulse. This is a city that celebrates life. Tel Aviv is your best-dressed friend. She knows where to go, where to shop and where you can get the best hummus. From the ports of Jaffa to the artsy boutiques of Neve Tzedek, the 'White City' is where modern New York meets the beach-city of Barcelona."
