Al Falaj

Set outside amidst the expansive desert, Al Falaj offers a unique Bedouin-inspired dining experience. The ground is swathed in Oriental carpets and covered with low embroidered couches padded with pillows and illuminated by candlelight. Here, a dinner begins with plates of mezzeh followed by barbeque, all with the backdrop of endless desert vistas.

Café Milano

An outpost of the Washington, DC dining institution, Café Milano, this restaurant offers classic southern Italian dishes in a chic, modern dining room designed by Adam Tihany that overlooks the Abu Dhabi waterfront. Begin with antipasti dishes such as eggplant timbale and octopus salad, before tucking into entrées of housemade tagliatelle with beef pancetta, veal Milanese or roasted sea bass.

Crust 

This lively, international eatery offers breakfast and lunch daily, either inside the contemporary dining room or on the terrace with views of the city skyline. The health-conscious menu offers a variety of dishes, such as red quinoa salad, seared salmon with eggplant and chicken biryani with mint raita. Every Friday, the restaurant creates an abundant brunch buffet featuring global delicacies and a raw bar.

Suhail
