Hiking/Walking in Santa Barbara

Check out the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County (www.sblandtrust.org), as there are great hikes on Land Trust preserves. Favorites include the Carpinteria Bluffs, Arroyo Hondo Preserve and the Coronado Butterfly Preserve.

While the Land Trust offers great hiking trails, there is something majestic about starting your hike with an ocean outing. Truth Aquatics leads regular guided hikes to the Channel Islands National Park and Marine Sanctuary, but you can also take a ferry and get a map from the rangers.
