Altona
For a slice of French fashion, head to this boutique on Worth Avenue that has a distinctly Riviera aesthetic. There are Capri pants that evoke a young Brigitte Bardot and sleek cotton shorts and tops that would like just right on the streets of St.-Tropez. The owner imports lots of the latest lines from France and has a loyal following
C. Orrico
The three Orrico sisters, Casey, Kathie and Colleen, have created an empire of preppy dressing in Florida with outposts from Hobe Sound to Naples. This is command central, though, where the ode to pink-and-green runs strong and where you can count on an enormous selection of colorful fashion for the young and casual holidaymaker. In addition to Lilly Pulitzer, the brands carried include Milly, Vineyard Vines, Nanette Lepore, Shoshanna, Tibi and Trina Turk.

She designs houses for a roster of discerning clients and she now reproduces or adapts many of the lamps and objects that were inspired by those projects to sell in her quaint shop off of Worth Avenue. Prowling here feels a bit like poking through a super refined flea market. The cottage-like shop is packed with beautiful linens and housewares from European manufacturers as well as furniture, accessories and delicate baby clothes.
