The top resorts in Cabo try their best to entice visitors to stay put with numerous dining options, including the special barbecue night offered at the One & Only Palmilla or the all-out local fiesta, Mexicanisimo, at Esperanza. That said, if you have more than three or four nights, it’s fun to get off-site. To mingle with the locals in a mellow ambience, head to one of San José del Cabo’s restaurants, such as Mi Cocina. Those in search of a party will prefer Cabo San Lucas, where the area’s best sushi place, Nick-San, continues to draw crowds. The resort restaurants are fantastic, and it’s worth reserving a dinner at a different hotel than your own as well.
