This ten-acre farm in the shadow of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains has become a must-visit for families and food lovers visiting Cabo. The family-owned enterprise grows organic vegetables and fruits and has expanded from a produce stand to include a Field Kitchen restaurant and a cottage community. The Field Kitchen restaurant serves freshly baked bread, salads fresh from the garden and meats that all come from the owner’s nearby 150-acre ranch. Seating is at large picnic tables under an open-air structure with canvas awnings. Menus change depending on what is in season but lunch may include ash roasted beet carpaccio, fresh oyster po’boy, smoked chicken salad and sausage sandwich with pickled vegetables. (Wood fired pizzas are always on offer.) Among favorite dinner choices: ricotta gnocchi with carrot and beet dumplings and wood-oven roasted young chicken with thyme, lemon and butter. Sunday brunch is particularly popular with families who may explore the farm grounds before or after their meals. Farm tours and meals should be booked in advance.
