Review
Located in the up-and-coming Condesa neighborhood, which feels similar to Brooklyn’s Williamsburg, Condesa DF has a young vibe and is popular with the Mexico City’s trendy locals, who often gather here for drinks. The boutique has just 40 rooms and suites, and is primarily suited for couples. (There are no connecting rooms.) The accommodations are all different, so it is important to select a room carefully (contact Indagare for help), but all feature a white color palette and an airy atmosphere thanks to oversized windows.
Condesa lacks a full roster of amenities, but does boast two lovely restaurants, one on the terrace serving sushi and the other in the dining room, where patrons nosh on Mexican-French fusion cuisine with tequila cocktails. The staff is friendly, but Condesa is best suited for independent travelers who don’t need five-star pampering and uber-luxe amenities. But, for those who want to stay at one of the coolest hotels in town, the relaxed service is a worthwhile trade-off.
Who Should Stay
Couples who want a hip scene and relatively affordable suites, and don't mind casual service.
