Mexico City for Design Lovers

Join the experts from Design Miami/ on a dynamic journey focused on art, food and architecture in one of this year’s hottest destinations, as well as the 2018 World Design Capital: Mexico City.

What to Expect

From its colorful buildings and breathtaking Modernist murals to the cuisine served at its most innovative restaurants, many elements of Mexico City are works of art.

From our base at the Four Seasons, we will venture out on studio visits with top designers and expert-guided tours of contemporary art museums and galleries including Kurimanzutto, Archivo Diseño y Arquitectura, Museo Tamayo and LABOR, as well as the private house of Luis Barragán, a Pritzker Prize-winning architect.

Other itinerary highlights include a tour of the home and studio of Diego Rivera led by the museum’s director, a collector’s preview of the international art fair Zona Maco and a visit to the one-of-a-kind home of the artist-designers Pedro Reyes and Carla Fernández. Between tours, we will dine at leading restaurants including Tetetlán, Rosetta and Contramar.
