The latest in a series of Insider Journeys crafted in collaboration with  Design Miami/, this special group trip explores the vibrant world of contemporary art, architecture and design in Mexico City.  On this journey, we will be treated to insider perspectives on the future of art and design in the context of Mexico’s rich cultural heritage.

What to Expect

Mexico City is an enchanting capital filled with color, warmth and spirit. Though it boasts a long history of being a center for the world’s most fascinating artists and designers—like Diego Rivera—it has only recently emerged on the world’s radar as a hub for contemporary innovation. Together with the curators behind the Design Miami/ art fairs, we will dive deeper into Mexico City’s cultural scene, meeting with some of the most influential local gallerists and artists.

Our itinerary invites members to experience exclusive access to the Mexican capital’s esteemed galleries, including Zonamaco, Archivo Diseño y Arquitectura, Labor, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Casa Luis Barragán, Kurimanzutto, Esrawe, Museo Anahuacalli and more. We will also visit the studios of celebrated contemporary artists and curators who will lead us on museum and city tours. In addition to unique shopping opportunities, we offer members the chance to dine at some of Mexico City’s most delicious and innovative restaurants.
