Medium Rare

In 2011, the owners of Medium Rare introduced a unique concept to DC’s culinary scene—a restaurant serving only one entrée—and truly succeeded. The reasonably priced prix-fixe menu, which includes a green salad starter and two servings of excellent steak frites, launched Medium Rare as one of the most popular restaurants in DC. The interiors resemble a sleek version of a French bistro and the atmosphere is always convivial and bustling. A second location has opened on Capitol Hill (515 8^th Street SE; 202-601-7136).
