The second outpost of the popular Nantucket restaurant, Millie’s has quickly become a DC institution. The casual, nautical eatery is decorated with accents like full-scale canoes hanging from the ceiling, painted oars on the walls and black-and-white surf photographs. During the summer months, the patio is lined with picnic tables and the open-air bar becomes buzzy. The menu includes such island-inspired dishes as shrimp tacos, tuna poke, roasted salmon, tuna steak and lobster quesadillas. A creative cocktail list accompanies the menu, which heavily features Nantucket brews and liquors from Cisco Brewers, such as the famed blueberry vodka lemonade.
