No expense was spared in the construction or design of the Museum of the Bible that displays the history and global influence of the Bible in state-of-the-art galleries. Opened in late 2017, the gleaming museum offers five floors of exhibits that incorporate special effects, technology, multimedia, videos and elaborate sets to reveal the Bible’s far-reaching effects. Don’t miss the Washington Revelations experience, a moving ride that glides through DC to spot Bible verses on the city’s major monuments and buildings. Throughout the museum, interactive experiences reveal the story of the New and Old Testaments and show their relevance today in a way that is entertaining to visitors of all ages. The magnitude of the museum is so great that it would take multiple visits to cover it thoroughly. Take a lunch break at the rooftop Mediterranean fast-casual eatery, Manna, from renowned DC Chef Todd Gray.
