The Club Car

The Club Car, the beloved shingled restaurant attached to a train car-turned-bar at the base of Main Street, was purchased by chefs from Straight Wharf and unveiled an updated, contemporary look and revamped menu. The traditional old-world dining room with white tablecloths and flickering lanterns has been transformed and the restaurant channels a California vibe with light blue leather banquettes and whimsical bulb lighting. The innovative menu highlights fresh garden and sea-inspired dishes such as local asparagus salad with anise and red fish crudo with kumquat and coriander. Regulars still flock to the Club Car bar for late night drinks and to request classics on the piano.
