Eye of the Needle
Eye of the Needle has a store in Palm Beach, but the candy-hued store also fits right into Nantucket, where it is located next to hot-spot restaurant the Pearl. The color-coordinated racks are packed with frilly, preppy fashions that appeal to young adults as much as sophisticated adults.
Faherty
This one-stop summer shop boasts an impressive collection of casual and outdoor apparel for men and women. The brand uses high-quality and sustainable fabrics, emphasizing their commitment to environmental protection (swimwear is made from plastic bottles and recycled polyester).
Gypsy
Paola Gonfrade’s boasts an assortment of designer wares that is delightfully varied. You’ll find Lanvin, Balenciaga and Celine alongside Thakoon and Isabel Marant. The ambiance can be a bit hushed for an island setting, but the fashion is serious and well-edited.
Milly and Grace
Started in 2009 by young shop owner Emily Ott, this charming store artfully combines clothes, jewelry and housewares in a space that feels like a stylish and wonderfully-cluttered living room.
Remy Creations
With shops in Boston and Cape Cod, this chic clothing store stocks classic, nautical-inspired women's apparel. In addition to comfortable basics in a rainbow of pastel colors, the store has an excellent selection of shawls, skirts, and hats.
Salt
Nantucket abounds with adorable boutiques, but this shop is a true highlight. Salt stocks stylish jewelry, gifts and women’s clothing—all of which is feminine and nautical-chic.
Serenella
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the island’s chicest residents stock their wardrobes with fashions from Serenella, the second outpost of the beloved Boston boutique. Along with the ultra-chic Gypsy, Serenella is the boutique of choice for serious shoppers, selling beach essentials and sophisticated fashions from the likes of Aquazzura and Nina Ricci.

The Love Shack
This shop is popular for its brand of LOLA jewelry, which stands for “Love one, love all.” The line of pretty handmade jewelry is most noted for its signature enamel pendants embossed with personalized designs (ideal for special occasions).
The Lovely
Vis-à-Vis
Stuffed floor to ceiling with fun summer fashions and accessories, this girly boutique on Main Street is the kind of well-edited shop that makes you happily forgo the beach on your first day in town. There are flirty dresses, skirts and tops in close to 100 styles. The shoe collection, in particular, stands out, whether you’re looking for flats or wedges. There’s also a fine jewelry assortment, including estate pieces; hair accessories, such as colorful headbands perfect for a beachy afternoon; and gift items like fragrances and scented candles.
