You Asked: Does anyone have recommendations for restaurants in Jackson Hole other than the Snake River Grill (a personal favorite)?
Here are some suggestions from plugged-in members and residents, as well as from Indagare correspondent Jamie Marshall:
Most agree that Snake River Grill is the chicest restaurant in town and has the best food. The Grill at the Amangani has wonderful food and views; it’s best to go early. Stiegler’s features Austrian cuisine and has a charming bar; it’s on Teton Village Road at the Aspens.
Nikai offers sushi and other Japanese fare; and the Kitchen is a notable newcomer. The Gun Barrel is known for its meat, including slow-roasted buffalo, smoked venison and bison carpaccio, and its rustic Western atmosphere. And finally, the Granary at Spring Creek Ranch, a couple miles from the center of town, is worth a visit.
On the mountain, the Westbank Grill at the Four Seasons has a big stone fireplace and marvelous views. The more casual Handle Bar, the hotel’s slope side eatery helmed by Michael Mina, offers pub fare and après-ski nibbles.
We only feature hotels that we can vouch for first-hand. At many of them, Indagare members receive special amenities.
