  • 3 Days: Essential Jackson Hole-LP

    3 Days: Essential Jackson Hole

Although Jackson Hole now rivals Aspen and Park City with its hotel and restaurant offerings, it has resisted becoming another glitzy resort. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere (formal here means a nice pair of jeans) as you lose yourself in the ethos of the Wild West with a customized itinerary, complete with guided touring. Here is just one example of what our destination experts can create for you.

    • Day One:

Lose yourself in the stunning surroundings by hitting the slopes in Teton Village, home to the Jackson Hole Ski Resort. There are runs for all levels of experience, as well as top-tier ski schools for those who want to learn. In the summer season, which starts in early June, you can enjoy the sunny day, see gorgeous wildflowers and look for elk and moose while hiking, horseback riding, fishing, biking or white-water rafting.

      Day Two:

With only 3% of Wyoming’s vast landscape held privately, a visit to Jackson Hole presents the perfect opportunity to explore some of America’s best national parks. Spend the day hiking, driving and strolling through Yellowstone National Park or Grand Teton National Park, where you can marvel at the wildlife, forests, mountains, rivers, and geysers like Old Faithful.

    • Day Three:

After enjoying a hearty Western breakfast or a relaxing spa treatment at your luxury lodge, venture into town for boutique shopping and other cultural attractions like the National Museum of Wildlife Art. After a light picnic lunch and seasonal outdoor activity in the afternoon, hit the local Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for a drink before a multi-course dinner at the Snake River Grill.

“In the summer, I would recommend flying into Jackson on a Wednesday, since that’s when they have a rodeo." Read the member postcard.

“Whether staying for a weekend or for seven nights, you will not be bored in Jackson Hole. Of course, there is skiing and hiking, but also snow-shoeing to the peaks; sleigh-riding through the Elk Reserve; white-water-rafting; and visiting the rodeo and symphony in the summer.”
