New York City’s Coney Island Park was recreated in Melbourne in 1912 and has been an iconic spot since. Located in the southwest corner of St. Kilda, Luna Park features only a few rides and games, but its proximity to the fashionable area—along with its history and old-fashioned charm—make it a great stop for families. The Scenic Railway ride that wraps around the park is the oldest functioning roller coaster in the world, and one of the only few that still require a brakeman to stand in the cars.
