    3 Days: Essential Sydney

Sydney is a city for exploring. Indagare can plan behind-the-scenes access at the Opera, surfing lessons at Bondi or harbor sails. Here is just one example of what our destination experts can create for you.

    • Day 1

Begin your day either with a harbor cruise or a seaplane or jet boat tour. If you are traveling with kids, they will adore one of the Oz Jet boat tours. After lunch at an Indagare-recommended restaurant, spend the afternoon scaling new heights with an unforgettable BridgeClimb on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the largest single arch steel bridge in the world. After this day of excitement, relax with cocktails or a massage at your hotel before dinner.

    • Day 2

A great way to start the day is with the Bronte to Bondi Walk, which takes about forty minutes and passes some of the city’s great sweeping beaches with stunning views. Visitors may also enjoy ferrying to Manly Beach from Circular Quay, or you can take a surf lesson or a trip to the Taronga Zoo. After dinner and drinks at a gourmet restaurant, enjoy a performance at the opera house. On a weekend night, you might be treated to fireworks.

    • Day 3

Explore one of the shopping districts like Paddington, which has lovely tree-lined lanes with small boutiques. Families can head to the Sydney Aquarium or the Royal Botanic Gardens. Alternatively, make a day trip to the country by the sea or in the mountains. In the afternoon, you can go for a bush walk and learn about the aborigines while exploring one of the national parks. Have a private barbecue dinner in the park and then a nocturnal wildlife tour.

“Upon special request, travelers can head behind-the-scenes at Australia’s largest and oldest pearling company, Paspaley Pearls. With a pearl expert, guests will have the opportunity to study the pearl grading process and see some of the most coveted South Sea pearl strands first hand.”

“Sydney is one of my favorite cities. I would start with breakfast at the Park Hyatt Sydney and then head to Balmoral Beach where the kids can play in the sand and eat at the Boathouse for lunch. Afterwards, I would take the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk, followed by a dinner at Billy Kwong and a show at the Opera House.”
