Montenegro

"I'm really excited about the One & Only's 2020 opening in Montenegro, and the brand’s first European property: the One & Only Portonovi. Beautiful pools, views of the Adriatic…sounds perfect to me! I think pairing a trip to Montenegro with some time on a yacht charter throughout Croatia would be totally dreamy during the summer months! A great romantic getaway, or even a sophisticated family trip." ~ Indagare’s Avery Carmichael

Zimbabwe

"I want to travel to Zimbabwe for an immersive, authentic and a bit more off-the-beaten-path safari experience, but with game viewing and tented lodges to rival other top safari destinations." ~ Indagare’s Rose Allen

Georgia

"The Republic of Georgia has quickly sprung to the top of my destination wish list for 2020. Georgia is home to the oldest grape vines in the world, and there is so much to discover in the country's wine regions. And who doesn't love Georgian food: Khachapuri (cheese-stuffed bread), Khinkali (Georgian dumplings), the list goes on. I'm excited to visit in 2020 to dive deeper into the country's culture, history, gastronomy and wine." ~ Indagare’s Kathryn Nathanson

Ischia

"I would love to explore the Italian island of Ischia, not far from Naples and Capri, and the Mezzatorre Hotel & Thermal Spa on the island's rugged northern coast. The hotel has 48 rooms and the main building is built into a 16th-century watch tower and has views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. I love that the island is still under-the-radar and has amazing restaurants to discover." ~ Indagare's Jen Barr

Brazil and Australia

"As an animal lover, I want to go to Brazil's Pantanal region (the world's largest tropical wetlands) to see capybaras. I'm also dreaming of Perth, Australia for the always-smiling quokkas who live nearby." ~ Indagare's Peter Schlesinger

American Southwest

"I want to visit America’s western and southwestern regions and the U.S. National Parks. I’m looking to reconnect with nature, and we have such a beautiful country with unique and jaw-dropping landscapes, so why not do so in my own backyard?" ~ Indagare’s Bridget McElroy

Tunisia

"This small country on Africa's Mediterranean coast has a fascinating blend of Arab, Berber and Mediterranean cultural influences and incredible desert landscapes dotted with Roman ruins." ~ Indagare’s Kyle Kucharski

The Black Forest, Germany

"I would love to explore this unique and picturesque region in southwest Germany, where small, charming villages are scattered throughout the dense green forest. The woodlands here are the mythic setting of many Grimm brothers’ fairytales, the traditional home of the cuckoo clock and, of course, the best place to indulge in a slice of Black Forest cake." ~ Indagare’s Nikki Erlick

West Coast Road Trip

"There is nothing better than taking on the open road with a good playlist and good snacks. This summer, I want to drive down America's gorgeous West Coast, from Seattle to Los Angeles, making stops to camp overnight and take in the natural beauty of places like Crater Lake and Big Sur." ~ Indagare’s Sydney Brodo

Off the Beaten Path

"I hope to explore Ethiopia, the Brazilian Amazon, Namibia or Mongolia to learn more about and celebrate the indigenous histories, traditions, folklore, craft and cultures of those regions that are becoming exceedingly rare in our globalized world. I also want to visit Kampala, Uganda in August during the KLA Art Festival to visit the Ugandan Arts Trust, an organization that supports local contemporary artists." ~ Indagare’s Elise Bronzo

"I want to visit Uganda for a transformative experience and opportunity to give back and volunteer, Mongolia or Bhutan for the gorgeous landscapes and fascinating culture, and the Faroe Islands for the fairytale scenery." ~ Indagare’s Christie Ishizuka
