The Top 11: Best Hotel Boutiques

The top hotels around the world offer stylish accommodations, high-touch service and delicious restaurants, but a truly special on-site boutique is a much rarer find. From Mexico City to Marrakech and St. Barth’s to South Africa, our favorite hotel shops feature one-of-a-kind pieces and local crafts that reflect the unique identity of the destination, offering one-stop shopping in the comfort of your hotel.

Le Toiny

Mandie Vere Nicoll has set the trends in beach style on St. Barth’s for decades. First, out of her tiny boutique by the bar at Isle de France, and now at her boutique on the beach at Le Toiny. Set in a restored 18th-century cottage, the small shop is packed with treasures that reveal her spot-on beachy taste, including boho-cool coverups, hats, sandals and fun jewelry. She buys in limited quantities, so guests who come throughout the year will always be surprised.

Singita Kruger National Park

The Singita Boutique & Gallery, catering to both the Lebombo and Sweni lodges, features chic artisanal items sourced throughout Africa. The lodge staff frequently visits nearby villages in search of unique crafts and then partners with these communities in order to showcase their talents at the Singita properties. Locally made products available at the boutique include Singita’s signature handwoven wire under plates, created by a group of female Zulu weavers in KwaZulu-Natal, and lovely stools handwoven using indigenous ilala palm.
