Alice Tully Hall

Chamber music has never sounded as good as in the revamped Alice Tully Hall, which was given a complete overhaul as part of the Lincoln Center renovation. Named for the chamber music patron (herself a former singer) who helped with the realization of the hall in 1969, it is housed in the same building as the prestigious Julliard School, where many of the musicians now performing at Alice Tully have studied. (The Hall also hosts the New York Film Festival.)
