Bear Viewing

Alaska

A formal bear viewing is the only way to comfortably and safely behold the majesty of Alaska’s brown and black bear population in their natural habitats. In a small group led by your expert guide, head out for a formal bear viewing experience (some available by fly-out, others by boat or car transfer), where you will have the opportunity to watch bears forage for food, fish and splash around in the water. While this excursion comes at an additional cost at most lodges, naturalists will enjoy the beautiful scenery, and wildlife seekers will be enthralled by observing these colossal animals in the wild.
