Joan Giné—whose family has been farming in Priorat for generations—founded this winery in 1996, hoping to carve out his own niche of fresh and lighter red wines in Priorat. The winery officially opened nearly a decade later, in 2005, producing mostly reds. Today visitors can enjoy a tasting of the organic wines (which includes the one white wine they produce) and tour of the vineyard.
Note: Those who do the Priorat Natur “Escape to Priorat” experience which includes a winery tour and olive oil tasting will visit Buil and Giné.
