Casa das Rosas

The colonial mansion of a famed Brazilian architect, Casa das Rosas was turned into a cultural center at the end of the 20^th century. There are lovely rose gardens on the property and a small café, which are both peaceful places to rest within the bustling city. The cultural center hosts many events, classes and exhibitions, and also houses the first library in the country that is dedicated to poetry.
