Chichen Itzá was chosen in 2007 as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World ,and Valladolid, the former capital of the state of Yucatan, is a charming town that offers a glimpse into Mexico’s rich colonial and pre-Colombian culture. You will be picked up in your hotel lobby by your expert guide and privately transferred to the Chichén Itzá archeological site, approximately 2.5 hours driving. At Chichén Itzá, your guide will lead you through the most interesting and important areas of the ruins, including the famed Castillo pyramid.
