Clock Tower (Campanile)

The gorgeous zodiac clock, officially known as the Moors’ Clock Tower, crowns the arch leading from Piazza San Marco into the shopping streets that wend toward the Rialto bridge and the heart of the city’s commerce. Climbing up into the five levels of the 500-year-old tower and seeing its inner workings with an English-speaking guide is a fun visit, but children must be at least 6 years old.
