Much larger than the Greek Theater, the Hollywood Bowl opened in 1922 and seats nearly 18,000. Concerts run regularly, and the view of the Hollywood Hills and the Hollywood sign in the background is a special treat. The live album “The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl” was recorded here, and the amphitheater is also featured in the Academy Award-winning film A Star Is Born.
